ShelterCare covers the 11 most common illnesses and accidents:

• Kennel Cough / Infectious Tracheobronchitis
• Intestinal Parasites
• Urinary Tract Infection
• Upper Respiratory Infection
• Ear Infections
• Mange/Mite Infections
• Canine Parvovirus / Feline Panleukopenia
• Foreign Body Ingestion Removal
• Motor Vehicle Accident
• Poison Ingestion (defined)
• Bone Fractures

Pre-existing conditions are not covered under the ShelterCare program

Coverage Period / Coverage Amount:
Coverage begins 1 second past the second midnight from the date of activation. Coverage continues for 30 consecutive days unless adopter chooses to extend coverage or move to an annual policy. ShelterCare will cover up to $500 for each illness/injury.

Claims:

• Claim form must be completed and signed by the attending DVM.
• Claim forms can be downloaded from www.sheltercare.com
• Claims must be submitted within 90 days of the policy expiration date
• Claims are paid after the applicable deductible of $50/incident
