When Noah built the Ark, he was limited as to how many animals he could save. He could only take two of each. Sometimes we feel like Noah must have. Our space is also limited and we must choose who will live and who will die. If there were more Arks out there, more animals could be saved. If you can build your own Ark (by becoming a foster home), together we could save more animals. We will supply you with anything you need: Food, toys, and veterinary care. All you need is a desire to save lives and some extra love to share.

Frequently Asked Questions
Question. Who can I contact with questions?
Answer: We will give you a list of people you can contact.
Question. How long will I be fostering?
Answer: Until the animal is adopted, sometimes less than a week,
sometimes several months. The average time is 2-3 weeks.

Answer: No. You do have to come to events when someone is coming to
meet the animal or at least twice a month.
Question. What expenses will I be responsible for?
Answer: Virtually none.
Question. What type of food/where do I get it?
Answer: We prefer to feed our animals premium foods. You can pick up the food and supplies at the adoption events, just let us know at least 24 hours in advance that you need it.
Question. What about medical care?
Answer: We will call in authorzations to one of our vets (closest to you) in order for you to go in for care.
Question. What do I do if there is a medical emergency
Answer: You will have a list of contact people to consult with to decide the best course of action. If you cannot get a hold of anyone within the
organizatin to consult with and this is a life or death situation, please take your foster dog to the closest Veterinary Hospital.
Question. Do I have to supply heartworm preventative and flea control?
Answer: No, we will provide that to you at the adoption events.
Question. Am I expected to do any training ?
Answer: House-training, basic obeidience if possible.
Question. What happens if I have to leave town or want to take a vacation.
Answer: The rescue will arrange for another foster to care for the animal. Please try to give us as much advance notice as possible in order to arrange for another foster to temporarily take in your foster. We do understand that emergencies arise and you may not be able to give us any notice,
but if this is a planned leave then please help us by letting us know as soon as possible.
Question. What if its not working out ( with other dogs, cats, family members )
Answer: After discussing the difficulties with the Foster Coordinators, if you still feel it won't work out, arrangements will be made to return
the animal being fostered and we will match you with another animal.
Question. What if someone wants to come to my house to meet my foster ? or wants me to bring my foster to their house ?
Answer: We discourage foster homes from allowing adopters visit their homes. If you are comfortable meeting the adopters in a neutral area
you may do so, but adoptions can not be completed until two adoption counselors have an opportunity to interview them.
